THE HERON AND THE HARE matches craft to craft in handsome fit as the only wood-fired barbecue joint in town chances a jolly tryst with the first local pub. The easily recognizable attraction among fire, meat, and fermentation is sporting a new look, and we are proud to host a thrilling debut.  Upon entrance, customers will choose from a daily menu offering a spin on the classic “meat and three”, where regional staples wink and nod to the wider world of cultural influence that has come to define the New South dining experience. Those inclined may find themselves in the space of the Biergarten, where they bear witness to the source of our inspiration in the heavy steel cylinders and stacked hardwoods of the smokehouse.
